House of Piano Music Academy (HOPMA) started in the year of 2004, the founder of HOPMA had a vision and zest to teach and spread music to the world. HOPMA started its journey with a single acoustic piano with 2 students. The first music school was setted up in a small place near VGP, chennai and now HOPMA is awarded as the best music school in chennai 2015.
Our music school provides the best ambience to learn music, the classrooms are air conditioned and we have 24 hours power backup for uninterrupted service.
At The House of Piano Music Academy lessons are taught through observation, participation, celebration and debate. Classes, concerts, exams, shows and workshops are constantly refreshed and exciting. Trained music educators help support children from babies to adults to develop as independent thinking, artistic and musical beings.
Our school has a own recording studio, theory hall, Open show hall and teaching rooms. Families and young people enjoy a range of regular musical activities including year-round workshops, lessons and performances.
We offer early years music, covering modules for musical learning that support all areas of a young child’s academic and social engagement. We offer professional development programmes and inset days for early years specialist and nursery workers both at our school. We believe that non-musicians can also be equipped with appropriate educational tools to support learning in musical ways.
Our music educators and performers are chosen because they care about music and children. All are personally interviewed and references approved.
