How can I learn to play faster? This will vary depending on what instrument you are learning to play, but here are some general tips:
To start with, pick easy tunes that you are very familiar with playing.
If there are bits in the tune that you find tricky to play, practice these until you can play them confidently, before you try speeding the tune up.
Check whether there are particular areas of technique you need to work on.
Practice the tune really slowly first, until you are confident you are playing it well.
Practice playing the tune and staying relaxed.
Think about how you are phrasing the tune, and be sure you have the key notes.
Practice playing the tune with a metronome, to learn to keep your playing speed under control. Once you can play a tune well at a certain speed, set the metronome slightly faster and try again.
Learn more tunes, so you become familiar with different note patterns in tunes.
Listen to lots of music, to hear what more experienced players are doing with phrasing etc.

How long will it take me to become good at playing the instrument? The length of time required depends on your natural ability, your goals and the amount of time you dedicate to practising and playing. If you practice regularly, you will need about 6 months to a year to play the basics. Learning any musical instrument is a tough job. You have to love the instrument.
I do not have time to practice playing the Instrument, but I want to learn. What should I do? Practice is necessary for everything that requires skill. As a beginner instrument player, all you need is 10 to 15 minutes each day to practice. I have experience with a musical instrument. Will I learn to play a different instrument faster? If you play another instrument, you will likely have experience with reading and writing music. You will also already have been introduced to important musical concepts, such as keeping a beat, which will help you when learning how to play a different musical instrument. But it takes years and years of dedication and practice to play one instrument perfectly. So, until you master an instrument, try not to go for another one.
Am I too old to start playing an Instrument? You are never old to learn a music instrument. Adults have some advantages over children when it comes to learning to play an instrument - adults have better concentration, have more developed motor skills, and are usually motivated by their own desire to play the instrument.
