Class Cancellation & Compensation Policy


Class Cancellation Guidelines

• Personal cancellations are not eligible for compensation.

• In case of sudden sickness or emergency, you can still request a compensation class by:
  – Submitting the cancellation in the portal
  – Uploading a supporting document
  – Doing this within 72 hours after the missed class
• Submission of a request does not guarantee approval.
• Repeated misuse of emergency or sickness categories may lead to rejection of future requests.
• The academy’s decision will be final.

Compensation Policy

1. Cancellation at least 4 hours before class – Compensation Available
If you cancel a class at least 4 hours before the scheduled time, a compensation class can be arranged on a different day, subject to availability. Kindly check with the front desk to schedule your makeup class.

2. Cancellation less than 4 hours before class – Case-Based Compensation
We understand that emergencies or sickness can occur. However, your teacher’s time and your class slot are reserved specifically for you and cannot be reassigned at short notice. In such cases, compensation may be considered on a case-by-case basis based on the supporting document. The final decision will rest with House of Piano Music Academy.

3. No online class cancellation submission – Charged / No Compensation
If you miss a class without prior notice (“No Show”), the session will be counted, and no compensation will be provided as we are unable to reallocate the teacher’s time.
